Carmella Whipple- Assistant Director

(Senior)

Carmella Whipple is thrilled to assistant direct and stage manage her second show at Cathedral High School. Radium Girls is her ninth show at Cathedral. Her past roles include Bird Girl in Seussical the Musical (2019), Assistant Director for A Midsummer Night's Dream (2019), Chimney Sweep in Mary Poppins (2018), and many others. Her favorite memory is falling down the stairs after the bows in Seussical on the final performance. For college, Carmella hopes to pursue both musical theatre and special education. She'd like to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support!

Mikey Boyle- Raymond Berry 

(Senior)

Mikey loves doing theatre at Cathedral High School, as this will be his 14th show with CaTheatre. Listing his named roles, he has been the Monster in After the Rain King, The Dwarf in Lion Witch and the Wardrobe, The Grinch in Seussical, Uncle in Charlottes Web, and Raymond Berry in Radium Girls. He is the current head of D&D Club, Creative Writing Club, and the Alliance club. He enjoys playing D&D, Writing, and watching horror movies. He is planning on going to Ball State, and majoring in Theatre Education. He would like to thank his friends, grandparents, parents, and his sister Nora for all they did to support him.

Diane Houk- Dr. Flinn/Mrs. Michaels

(Senior)

Diane has been in CaTheatre every year that she’s been here. In fact, she’s been acting in shows since about second grade (when she was a munchkin in Chatard's Wizard of Oz). Some of her other roles include the Genie in Aladin, Toto in The Wizard of Oz, a Princess in The Little Mermaid, and others. She has also directed a show in the Rookie Showcase. Her favorite CaTheatre memory is when she got to hang out with the dogs used in Mary Poppins. Diane wants to continue with acting in college, and is going to study business management. She would like to thank her parents, grandparents, and Ms. Alex and Mr. Z for helping develop and further her love for Cathedral Theatre.

Annie Leppert- Mrs. Roeder

(Senior)

Annie is so excited to be taking part in her tenth show at Cathedral! Her favorite roles at Cathedral have been Jane Banks in Mary Poppins, and Bird Girl in Seussical. Annie’s favorite thing about CaTheatre is the friendships she’s made throughout the years, and her favorite rehearsal memories are Seussical rehearsals. Annie plans to study vocal performance of popular music in college, and is in the process of auditioning for schools! She would like to thank her family and friends for all the love they’ve given her. Enjoy the show!

Jack Lindner- Tom Kreider

(Senior)

Jack is so excited to be back on stage after a short hiatus from his last performance! He is a member of the International Thespian Society at Cathedral. Radium Girls is his fifth acting performance with Cathedral and his 21st show overall. Past performances with CaTheatre include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mary Poppins, and Seussical. He has also had the privilege to perform with numerous theaters all around the Indianapolis area including Hendricks Civic, The Belfry, Footlite Musicals, and Carmel Civic. He plans to study acting in college next fall. Jack would like to thank Mr. Z, the cast, and everybody on crew for making these past few months such a blast. Most importantly, Jack would like to thank all of his friends and family for always loving and supporting him and this crazy dream throughout the years.

Ashley Lay- Irene Rudolph

(Senior)

Ashley is very excited to play Irene in Radium Girls. She has loved this theatre for many years and has participated in every CaTheatre show since The Princess and The Pea in 2016. Ashley intends to major in dental hygiene in college and would like to thank her family and friends for making her smile everyday.

Pat Downey- Dr. Von Sochocky

(Senior)

Pat is now performing in his tenth show with CaTheatre. He previously performed in Rookie Showcase 2017 (Death), The Little Mermaid (Chorus), After The Rain King (Sir Kay). Pat has previously written skits and directed three for Catheatre: First Round of Bizarre, Nuclear Wasteland U.S.A., and Black Box Theatre 2019. Pat is also part of the Improv Team at Cathedral. Pat plans on majoring in Telecommunications or Arts Management and top choice for schools are Ball State and IU. Pat is the Tuba Section Leader of Cathedral Pride of the Irish, founder of Catan Society, and co-president of the International Food Club. Pat would like to thank: Doug and Jen Downey, Mr. Moffatt, Ms. Alexander, Mr. Zavaleta, Mrs. McCullough, Mrs. Lewis, and Ms. Pivonka.

Alanna Reckley- Marie Curie

(Senior)

Alanna is very excited to be in her second show at Cathedral. Her past performance was Charlottes Web as a fairgoer. Her favorite rehearsal memory was the meal in between shows. She is looking at majoring in business and hopefully attending IU or University of Dayton next fall. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her and always cheering her on.

Brendan Jay- Edward Markley

Brendan is preforming in his second show ever. He is both on lights crew and acting in this show. He is also a part of the varsity bowling team for Cathedral. He plans on being an aeronautical engineer and doing some theatre in college.

Katie Darragh- Katheryn Schaub 

(Senior)

Katie has been a part of the theatre arts since 5th grade and has always loved performing on stage. She is very excited to be in her 6th show at Cathedral. Some of her favorite past performances include The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, and A Midsummer's Night Dream. She would like to thank her family for all the love and time they have put into her passion for theatre over the years. She couldn't have done it with out them!

Scarlett Mena- Clerk/Shopper 

(Senior)

Scarlett is really glad to participate in her second show. Her past performance was the Rookie Showcase. She was a character named Susie. Scarlett’s favorite rehearsal memory was joking about the many times “Susie!” was said in the show. She enjoys being part of crew and playing clarinet in the band. Scarlett plans to major in psychology and neuroscience and her top school is Indiana University or IUPUI.

Kayla Morrell- Dr. Drinker/Venecine Salesman/Customer

Kayla is excited to be in her fourteenth production at Cathedral. Her favorite past performances were playing Thing 1 in Seussical, The Unicorn in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, and a maid in Little Mermaid. Her favorite rehearsal memory is always green room before the shows. She would like to thanks her family for always supporting her and her theatre friends for making every show amazing. Kayla is looking forward to college next year and is interested in studying education or counseling. She’s considering University of Dayton, Ball State, and a few other schools. Stay tuned!

Olivia Schneider- Court/Elderly Widow/Store Owner

Olivia is excited to be continuing her career as part of the International Thespian Society Troupe at Cathedral High School. This will be her fifth show at Cathedral as she participated in Mary Poppins, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Rookie Showcase, and Seussical. Olivia is currently applying to college and is hoping to major in biochemistry. Her favorite part of theatre is being able to share the stage with all her fellow actors and crew members who are all amazing and make her experiences in theatre memorable and special. She would like to thank her family and her friends for always supporting her and especially her cousin for introducing her to CaTheatre!

Claudia Darnell- Mrs. MacNeil

(Senior)

Claudia is excited to take place in cast for the first time in a fall play at Cathedral. In the past, she has been in crew for three fall shows, and has been in the cast for two Rookie Shows, and the dancing chorus for three spring musicals. She plans on continuing this tradition this year in Hairspray, which she is beyond excited for. Her favorite rehearsal memory is yelling “SUSIE” repeatedly at her best friend Scarlett in rehearsals for her more recent Rookie Show. Aside from theatre, she takes place in band as part of the color guard and as a flute player. She is also an IB Diploma student. She hopes to study Creative Writing at Oberlin College next year, and would like to thank her family for helping her to get as far as she has gotten, and her friends for encouraging her to give acting a second shot.

Henry Eifert- Arthur Roeder

(Senior)

Henry is returning for his fourth production at Cathedral. His past roles include Theseus and Oberon in A Midsummer Night's Dream and a Who chorus member in Seussical. Outside of theatre, he enjoys computer science, music, and ornithology. He would like to thank his friends in CaTheatre for encouraging him to audition for his first show.

Jade Miller-SocietyWoman/Photographer/Shopgirl

Jade is thrilled to be in her seventh CaTheatre production. For five of them she has been crew and this is only her second production as a cast member. This is Jade's first speaking role and she is super nervous about it - part of the reason why she always goes out for ensemble parts. Let's hope she can make it through without fainting!

Nick Grill- C.B. "Charlie" Lee

(Senior)

Nick is proud to have been a part of CaTheatre for all four years. His first show was The Little Mermaid as a freshman and he has done almost every show since, including Mary Poppins and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. He aspires to go to MIT to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, and hopes to finish out his senior year strong. He thanks his friends and families for all of their support, and knows that without them, he wouldn’t be where he is today. He is looking forward to great shows with even greater people!

Maddie Elson- Harriet Roeder

Maddie is thrilled to be in her fifth show here at Cathedral! Her past performances here at Cathedral include Mary Poppins, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Rookie Showcase, and Seussical. Last year, she also took part in CYT’s (Christian Youth Theatre) performance of Beauty and the Beast. Her favorite part of this show has been getting to work with many of the other students here at Cathedral and learning new acting warm-ups. She would like to thank Mr. Z and her family for giving her the opportunity and support to be a part of this wonderful show!

Caoimhe Knutson- Mrs. Fryer

Caoimhe is so excited to be in her fourth show at cathedral. Previously she was in the 2018 Children’s Play and Fall Play, and was also part of Seussical the Musical. She would like to thank Cathedral Theater and it’s members for all the great opportunities.

Claudia Lowe- Grace Fryer

(Junior)

Claudia is excited to be in her tenth show at Cathedral. Her past performances include Snug in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Aslan in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Cinderella in Cinderella, and Tiger Lily in Peter Pan. Her favorite rehearsal memory was during the scenes with Grace, Irene, and Katherine. She would like to thank her family and friends especially her mother, Lori and her father, Ming.

Brooklynn Thorpe- Katherine Wiley

Brooklynn is very excited to be in her sixth show at Cathedral. Her past performances at Cathedral include the 2017 Rookie Showcase, Mary Poppins (banker), A Midsummer Nights Dream (fairy), Seussical The Musical (jungle person and cadet), and now as Katherine Wiley. Her favorite rehearsal memory was when the cast read about her supposed "clout" during the read through. She wants to eventually go to Howard University and Major in Musical Theatre, and have a leading role on Broadway. She would like to thank her family and friends for never dimming her light and always encouraging her to keep accomplishing her dream. She would like to especially thank her mother Tia Esters for always having her back when it comes to her acting career goals.

Lindsey Huntzinger- Dr. Knef

(Junior)

Lindsey is so excited to be in her fifth show at Cathedral. In the past, she has been in After the Rain King as crew, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe as an Elf, Seussical as a solider, and Charlotte’s Web as ensemble. Her favorite rehearsal memory was during Seussical dance rehearsals because they were always super enjoyable. She would like to thank her parents for letting her be apart of Radium Girls, and her coach for letting her miss afternoon practice for rehearsals.

Colin Chandler- Lovesick Cowboy/Bailey/Board Member

(Freshman)

Colin is excited to perform in his third show at Cathedral. He has played minor roles in both Charlotte’s Web and the blackbox show The Shadow Over Innsmouth. His favorite rehearsal memory was getting to know the cast better during tech week. He would like to thank his family and friends for always being there for him.

Joseph Mariani- Dr. Martland/Board Member

(Freshman)

Coming from Immaculate Heart of Mary, Joseph is a part of both concert choir and the cross country team. This is his first Cathedral play and is excited for more productions in the future.
